Trouble transfering Standard Midi File from Triton to 4000

I made a sequence loop in the triton and saved it as a Standard Midi File so I could load it in the MPC 4000. The sequence starts out a little faster like it is trying to catch up. Also the loop is not a smooth transition as it once was on the Triton. The sequence seems to have a slight delay before looping again. I tried saving the SMF in format 0 and Format 1 in the Triton but had problems with both. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.
