HOW ABOUT A 2KXL FULL LOADED AND THE DIGI 002 .....

Trev, dont be put off by the guy who responded to you last post.  The 4000 is not bunk.  If you can afford it, get it.  All the OS issues will be worked out.  If you already have a rackmount sampler, you may not need many of the features on the 4000.  As for the 002, I think its way overpriced.  Your better off getting a 001 and a Tascam DM24 mixer (which has HUI emulation).  The 2 of them cost only $300 more than a 002,  and you get way more.  Pro Tools will definitly  take care of you audio and midi sequencing needs, but its not known for its midi.  Logic is better suited for serious Midi sequencing.[/color]

Are you syncing th mpc to SX? How does it work?

I am very married to SX, but would like to use the mpc both as a beatbox and a hardware sampler, which means I'd need to be able to trigger samples and patterns on the mpc via midi from SX... Is this possible? What about controlling track mutes and patterns from SX?

Please advise.[/color]
