hey yo, I was just thinking about how fuct it is that i have had two corrupt midi files for no reason in the last 2 months. but then it hit me, the reason i got wack midi filez is coz i was trying to save it while the sequence was still playing.....
Just a little heads up to any new schoolers like me.

Its happened bcos i've just started syncing the mpc to my dps24...havnt got the hang of it yet. any tips? every time I goto record on the dps it sends the record command to the mpc and I get its metronome kicking to my tracks!!!! hehehehe

Did you guys report this to mpc4000 @ akaipro.com?
Sounds like a serious enough bug!

yeh nah havnt reported anything... all the progs samples and sht is all good, its just the midi file that fks up... I only figured out what it was the day I wrote the email and I avnt had the problem since.
Luckily I had the tracks on my dps so I just worked out the bpm and resampled my drum pattern cos I couldnt get te groove right again
