Once you get a slammin' tune inside your MPC4k laid out. What's the best way to get it over to your PC to lay down some VSTi synth tracks and effects to it?

Get an input channel to your PC then use the midi in your D.A.W to write synth tracks. In your D.A.W you can apply effects to your different tracks.

I have a PC dedicated to Audio, VSTi running with a Fatar controller and a ReMote 25 Controller. In the PC I have a Delta 10/10 Audio Card that has 10 inputs (8 1/4 inch and 2 SPDIF)

1. Make the midi connections to your mpc, vst intruments and recording program.
2. Make the audio connections so you can hear the PC and the mpc at the same time.
3. Record your mpc to the recording program with a midi sync.
4. After the mpc tracks are recorded make sure the tempos are the same on the mpc and recording program.
5. Write your vst instruments. (they should be in sync with the mpc tempo)
6. Write your effects.
This is just one way to do this. There are more advanced ways that I
don't think youre ready for nor do most people have the time to answer.
I suggest you learn audio flow and midi flow. This essentially is the
answer to your question. When you run into specific issues holla back...

FOB, thank you very much for your input. I am familiar with AUDIO and MIDI connections and how to get them working together just not so much with my new MPC4k.
The MPC is a monster!
Sounds like most things, "Whatever works best for you, do it" I was wanting to know if there is a way through trial and error that everyone on here (seasoned MPC owners) uses that could save me some time.
I have read where ppl make the beats on the MPC4k, then sample the output of their VSTs keeping it all inside the MPC.
I was thinking the opposite. I just want to make sure I am taking advantage of what the MPC4k has to offer.
