Is it possible to connect an internal scsi cdrom drive in an mpc4000. I'm planning on getting an mpc soon and I have a left over scsi drive. :;):

You can install just about any IDE drive (CD ROM, HARD DRIVES, ZIP DRIVES, MO DRIVES, etc).

I would suggest running any intended CD-R recorders past Akai support first. Because this machine does not have the same architecture as the older model MPCs, and might respond differently to the upgrade proceedures. Just to be on the safe side you know, good luck.

Thanx, that could save me some unexpected probs
Anyway, may I assume there is no internal SCSI connector in the mpc4000 anymore?
