Hey guys I email Akai about the release and functions of the new O.S. 1.5.1s and here is reply.
Hello, Konichi Wa,
Thank you for your email.
EQ (3-band parametric) is already available in the FX section, therefore,
you can use up to 4 x 3-band EQ in a MULTI (of course, this would use all 4
FX).
Once EQ is selected as an Effect, you can assign Q-link controls to any FX
(EQ) parameter (Frequency, Gain, Q).
V1.60 fixes the FX Level issues, thus making FX EQ much more usable.
There is no plan to add EQ to the Mixer page.
V1.60 will have the same features as the current beta (V1.51t), plus direct
access to the Sequence Transpose window from the MISC page and direct access
to the Timing Correct window by holding down the Timing Correct key a couple
seconds.
Nothing more for this version.
But of course, we will start working on the next update as soon as V1.60 is
officially released.
We do not have an exact release date for V1.60.
It will depend on the results of the Public Beta.
Did you attend the MPC seminar at the LAOX Tokyo Akihabara store on Jun
19th?
No I didn`t but when is the next one?
