syncing a adat

I have recently bought a used adat and was wondering how do I sync it to my roland vs-880ex. The adat has a 9 pin sync output and my vs-880ex has midi sync, is there a cable that I can buy that has the 9 pin on one side and midi on the other side? Or can anyone suggest anything that will allow me to sync both of these machines together.
