Backing up to CDRW?

Are these things safe?I've been using them alot lately,because i've been seeing horror stories about hard drives crashing and now I make a habit of backing up my HD once a week to CDRW.

Are CDRW's safe? YES.
Are HD's safe? Yes.

Sometimes HD fail and CD's get scratched. It's better to make numeous backup copies it is a valuable piece.

I know poeple who have had 3 harddiscs getting corrupted in a year, so back your sh1t up.
