Hello there!

Im pretty new to the whole mpc stuff and cant figure out how to do the following on the 4k:

i got a nice Synth Bass Sample i would like to play with a normal Keygroup programm. The Sample should be assigned to every pad and should be played at the same speed all the time, but with different transposing. as default, the mpc pitches my samples when i do that, means it changes transpose and speed. i just want to transpose the samples up and down but with the same speed, is this possible?

Thanks a lot & sorry for my bad english.

cheers

Ok, so i have to create different samples to do that?
i thought this would be possible...i mean the mpc can do so much and transposing is easy compared to other stuff the mpc can do.

Or how do you do it? if you got a string sample and you want to play it in different semi tones, lets say for one octave, but the samples must have the same length. is there no way to do this more or less "fast" on the mpc 4k?

or do i have to prepare every single sample for each semitone on the PC?

thank you very much for your help.

Pretty much, or sample C note from each octave then spread the different samples over a Keygroup program
