Uh Oh...I think I found a flaw with the 4k

So this is my 6 month on the 4k. Everything has been going perfectly. Been making tons of beats and designing tons of sounds.

With the file management and multis I havent had the need to use a DAW to track my 4k beats, because I'm still going through the hundreds of beats I made on the 2500.

Ok...so now I need to use a couple of my 4K beats for a project. When tracking the beat in Pro Tools I noticed a dreadful timing issue and glitches in my loops Something I haven't experienced with the 2KXL or the 2500.

Is anybody else experiencing this timing issue and is there a workaround?

I got it worked out...Thankfully.

I thought there the was a flaw in the perfect outboard gear.

Pro tools and the 4k were not syncing perfectly. When I tracked the MPC sequences into pro tools, there were glitches in the loops.

So, your flaw was actually a flaw.

The irony...

Yeah, I tried it in Logic, but I've always experienced glitches in my loops in Logic...from my 2KXL days. Which is one of the reasons why I still use Pro Tools.

I was able to successfully track some MPC 4k sequences into Pro Tools now though. so it's all good.

What fixed it?

My 808 was clipping. That was causing the glitch.
