Okay, so, what seems to be a trend with me, I'm having issues with yet another of my MPC's.
Okay, so, what's happening is that, during playback, certain notes will just disappear. For example, if I have a sequence just looping, by the 2 or 3rd loop, one of my kicks within the sequence will just not play. But, then on the next go round, it'll play just fine.
This is specifically happening to sounds that are being played from VST's within Reaper, which I use my 4K to play via midi.
Another thing that is occurring is, since yesterday, when I record pad performances, on playback they are ENTIRELY different from what I input. Now, this is using the 1/96 quantization option, which is damn near no quantization at all, so I'm not making the rookie mistake of using heavy timing correct and expecting it to sound as I played.
Also, I'm getting stuck notes when playing melodies from my keyboard which can only be addressed by pressing the Panic button within the MIDI menu or switching the preset on whichever VST synth I'm using.
Lastly, I've had a very random issue where I have one of my VST's (Superior Drummer) using midi channel 2 on port C, playing pad 3. I also have another VST (Battery) receiving input from midi channel 1 on the same port. What will happen is, every now and again, the track for Superior Drummer will play the note assigned to the same pad number on channel 1.
So, for further clarity, let's say I'm only using the snare from SD (which is assigned to pad 3, midi note D1) on Track 1 of my sequence. Out of the blue, the kick that is assigned to the same midi note but within Battery which is on channel 2, will just play.
And, no I don't have one of the midi out assigned to channel 2 on that track.
All of this is just making use of my 4k almost unbearable.
Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this?
