Can I transpose a midi track one octave down in a sequence?

Yes you can, you have to 1st make sure in the trak field under type, that you select instrument, instead of drum, and the transposition field will appear, then just adjust it how you please.

that's one solution but it's not permanent. if you have recorded a track,
go to the step edit page and and press move, and select the region you
want to move.... then at the very bottom, you can choose what you want to move. either you can choose time, to move it forward or back, or if you select note, you can choose what note it's to be moved to, ie the pitch.
hit do it and thats done.
