upgrading from 1000 to 4000 is all my stuff compatible?

all of the wav files should load.

I upgraded from a 1k to a 4k. The wav files will load, but your prog. etc. won't which basically means you are going to have to re-do your beats. There is also the chicken systems translator that may be able to help you convert your prog. and such from the 1k to 4k format. I personnally haven't tried it though, so can't tell you anything about it. but here's the website: http://www.chickensys.com/
