Can any mpc4k be fitted with a hard drive??

I have read the posts about mpc4ks hard drives failing.. so i am planning on switching out the hdd to a seagate or western digital. My question is are all of the mpc4k trim levels (LE) capable of supporting an HDD? Id rather spend a little bit less on an LE and put in the adat outs, upgraded ram, and 80 gig HDD if it is possible.

I dont know what you mean by trim levels etc but yes it will work. As long as the 4k supports that drive. All 4k's that are sold are the same machine, some are just stripped from hd's and other stuff and sold as LE's etc... So its the SAME MACHINE.

i dont know what i was thinking when i said "trim level" that really isnt the best word to describe what i meant, i should have said "model" (LE, studio A, Stuudio D) Trim level, especially for people that work with making music means gain, or signal level... sorry

anyone know what the limit is on the mpc hd expandability,
in other words how big of a drive the 4k will accept?

I got a spare 200gb just laying in the box. cept Im kinda busy/lazy
