ive recorded a long sample. 70 bars. Then Ive triggered it in the sequencer. It only plays for about 28 bars then it cuts out. I can hear it recording the whole way through in the sequencer . Then i playback and as i say it cuts out. I have a vocal sample running over it. Any ideas?

Perhaps there is a problem with the memory.

hy mozzy4k

you can set one shot either in sample mode - trim page or program mode - zone page - play mode!

how many rams you got on your 4k? recently i sampled 2 5 five minute samples at 96 khz, 24 bit, stereo and played em back without any problem ... 512 here and i think there was more than half of the memory free!

good luck

iv only got 16 which is a good bit but obviously not enough if im sampling entire songs. Ill just have to get the extra ram.
Ive been kinda debatin whether to get a decent soundcard on my computer and record onto it or else get the ram but ill prob need the ram at some stage anyway.
I got around it last night by transferring samples via aksys to the computer and using cakewalk which ill be doing for the forseeable future. But one thing i noticed when you delete a sample on your mpc and go into record mode it doesnt free up any memory. So I had to turn it off and on again.
