Ok somedays i feel smart but it only turns out that ill still say something dumb....well lets see what happens.
Because the mpc 4000 is 24/96 and the mpc xl is 16/44.? the 4000 is gona sound way better which is true but if you sample lets say a horn from a record into the 4000 and 2000 xl the same sample when played back it should sound better coming out the 4000 but what if i use that sample and played it from the 2000 xl into my sound card thats 24/96 in and out wouldnt it now sound the same as the 4000 playing the sample alone....the reason why i ask this is because a cd or record can be no higher that 16 bit and to me thats means the 4000 and 2000 are in the same ball park as far as what go into them both but when it comes its a different story but if i used a sound card for my xl when i spit out that 16 bit sample i feel maybe it should sound as good as the 4000 when it just spits it out by itself....but like i said sometimes i feel smart but still say dumb sh*t. Holla back!

Beatz is life and life is beatz, so when you tell me to "get a life" you must mean make another beat.
