A tick walks into a bar.
Tick- "Give me a beer."
Bartender-"No, you are a tick, get out of here."
Bartender grabs tick and opens the door and literally kicks him out.
A year goes by...
A tick walks into a bar and looks at the bartender.
Tick-"Why did you do that?"

A tick walks into a bar. And he says to the bartender "Got any grapes?" The bartender says "No, I don’t have any grapes." The tick walks out, sorely disappointed.

So the next day, he walks back into the bar, asks the same question, gets the same answer.

The day after, he walks back into the bar, and again, asks the bartender, "Do you have any grapes?" The bartender, having still not figured out why this tick seems to think he may have some grapes, says to the tick, "No, and if you come back in here tomorrow and ask me if I have any grapes, I will nail you to the bar!"

The tick frowns, turns around, and walks out of the bar. So the next day, the tick walks back into the bar, and asks the bartender "Got any nails?"

The bartender says, "No."

So the tick says, "Got any grapes?"

I dont think it matters what the quantise setting is but 99.9% Im quantising at 1/16th

If you are quantizing, you can't access all the ticks. Quantize must be turned off and then you can use the transport's step keys to navigate/count each tick.

Coz, you don't have to "think" it's 3840 ticks in a bar. You can go to sleep "knowing" there are 3840 ticks in a bar. :P

A different time signature will result in different amounts, so no sleeping just yet.

Obviously, you missed the part where I said turn quatize off. Lol. You can go back to sleep.

Sorry. I tend to not read all of your posts for obvious reasons. But I'll do a better job next time. Regardless, the discussion was about quantize, bars, and ticks....not time signatures....

And it's great that you can now confidently discuss sequencer resolution without guessing. A Win-Win for all.

The length of a bar depends on the time signature, dumbass
