odd meters

hi. i currently own the MPC5000 and it will not store odd metered sequences correctly - upon powering up and loading, it either truncates the sequence if it has additional beats (say, 6/4) or fails to loop if you use 2/4, 3/4, etc.

is this a problem with the 4K? will it successfully recall something like this: 4/4, 4/4, 4/4, 6/4?

The moment I get home I am going to try this out. My songs have never had a time setting change in them. I have used different time signatures. Give me a few hours to look into this.

man, i'd sure appreciate you doing that for me. it's literally the only thing holding me back from selling my 5K and buying a 4.

The MPC4000 does asymmetric time signatures fine.
