note repeat problem

note repeat works in both latch and unlatch mode but every once in a while it'll just stop (led stays illuminated, so it's not the tactile switch) and it will not pass midi info to the synth i'm controlling. no rhyme or reason and i can't force it to happen. i'm using it with an external keyboard to get a stoccato effect. when it does goof up i can switch note repeat off and it's getting info from the keyboard, so i've narrowed it down to not being the keyboard, midi cable, etc.

maybe re-installing the OS? just a thought...

i dont know for sure about the 4k, but i know on the other mpc's if you push note repeat witho out a timing correction on it will do nothing.
