hell of a lot tighter.
i know this for a fact.
plus the feel is different. i had a 1k, and i have tried a 2kxl a few times, but the 4k operates more stable and point to point . the 960 ppqn makes a big difference here.
at first i liked the 1k timing, then i started to notice timing being off here an there, even with staight 1/16th patterns.
the 4k is tightest drum machine, sampler, and sequencer i have ever heard.
you can play this thing back for hours and not notice drop outs, lags, delays.
again, i think this tight timing has something to do with the Intel Armstrong Processor, which is not 16mhz like the 2k and 1k. also the 960 resolution is superior to 96.
4k Luv
