fixing glitches

Just wondering i went to the akaipro site and they had new O.S. that could be downloaded. Are they fixing the problems for free? Does that mean that there aren't any real risks in purchasing a mpc ealry? i'm looking to get mine within the month just wondering if this is a good idea.

And i have no clue what the model D is for, if somebody wants to dumb it down as much as possible it would be great.

Heads up, it's not early the machine has been out for over a year. I find it entertaining that some net heads focus in so heavily on all the negativity and bullsh*t that is carelessly fired back and forth, about the MPC 4k. The sh*t talkers have not used the same machine I have. Because if they had it would be painfully clear what a superior drum machine this MPC is. It's not perfect but hello what the f**k is?!! Honestly though if ANYONE can name a more sophisticated and versitile stand alone drum sampler sequencer, please let me know. And Honest to god I will sell my 4000, cop that piece, and never ever look back. Period. I am just sick of all the bullsh*t. Ok, I would expect to see that crap on Sonicstate or some other site, but please if you are confused about the 4k's superiority, simply read through some of the past topics in this forum, and it should be crystal clear to you just how deep this machine is. People need new hobbies man I tell you.

My bad man i'm not all that schooled yet, but i am just making sure that i wouldn't want to spend 1,200 on an sp instead of a 3,100 purchase.
But it's good to see that this site is sorta professional from the other shit i have seen. So yea my questions will get smarter as time passes and hopfully soon i can school some newjack bitchs too.

don't take it personally kid. I've asked all types of dumb questions about everything under the sun. It's just frustrating to see heads that have never used a 4k, complain about one. Once in a while I'm known to set the record straight because it's important that people do their homework and make informed decisions, even in discussions, before giving a biased opinion based on some underprivledged under tha influence underinformed creep on the web. The 'D' means it comes with 256meg's of RAM, 60gig HD, built in CDR, and ADAT lighpipe interface. Everything else is the same.
