RECYLCE A NECESSARY WITH THE MPC 4K?

hey ive been reading alot of posts on this site and been noticing alot of goods things about recyvle. How it automates chopping up samples, from loops. I have an MPC 4k and it does take me a long time to actually chop up a sample...but do ppl out there who have an MPC 4K..things its a neccisty?

I just got into it recently, as you can tell by the posts I've made. I think it's a great tool to run in tandem with the 4k. It's opening my eyes to lots of possibilities that may have been simply too time consuming before hand. I wouldn't say Recycle is a necissary. The 4k is meant to stand alone, but you can certainly appreciate the power that the Ak.sys interface gives to 4k users. I've heard that Peak is good also but I haven't used it. If you use a PC there are a few other programs that work similarly to recycle that are supposed to be off the hook, I believe Wavelab, Soundforge, ect..check the previous posts for more info. I couldn't get into those programs because I'm working on Macs but I would definately tell you to look into software waveform editing as a companion to your 4k. These are very powerful tools.
