step record tie

hello users,

i guess there is no way (other than program duration afterwards) to program a tie when step recording ?

a rest is >[step]

so if you input a 1/16note and tie with another (the next) 1/16 you get 1/8the note in length/duration

if you tie it again then you get a triple/16the (duration!) and so on

It's not called 'step recording' for nothing, unfortunately. So I guess duration is your only option unless I'm missing something...
