Delete all in edit screens?

So I recorded a pretty nice melody that I am happy with but accidentally recorded a bunch of mod wheel.

Jump into event edit, go to the bottom and select show only mod wheel changes. Lots, I mean lots of events recorded and can't seem to figure out a way to delete all the mod wheel without manually deleting each step one by one. any ideas?

Just tried it in seq edit rather than step. Much faster to scroll through and select all, I'm guessing seq edit works at a lower resolution than step edit? Regardless did the trick.

Nope, step edit/seq edit are in the same machine, mpc4k, they both can access the same resolutions. TIME CORRECT at the top of step edit can be changed. If you wanna see every last recordable tick then change it to OFF.

This is a pure guess, but if you press the Erase key from the Main screen or either editors and then scroll to the option 'All Except Notes', I assume your note data will remain in tact and your mod wheel data will be erased.

I tend to record Q-Link data in a single pass on a separate track, and just keep using Undo until I'm happy with it before I move on. So yeah, you'll have to see if it works as expected.

I wonder if he meant hierarchy not resolution?

Yeah, that could be it.

@op, they both work at the same resolution, the information is just presented differently, one is grid based and the other is text/line based.

You can manipulate the displayed info on both with the same options (View) at the bottom.
