Use of the 8 audio outs ?

Might sound a bit ignorant but what's the purpose of all those outs ?
The only thing i can think of is for recording when you have several tracks and you want to keep all the instruments apart fo some reason.

Please enlighten me.

Keep things separate when recording or when performing live into a mixing desk, send sounds to different external effects processors, send separate click track to drummer or other performers, send separate audio sync pulse to Monotribe or other step sequencer, etc.

At this time not something i need to aim for then ... I am far from a pro and will never be a live performer or allowed in any band

usually when you want to mix something, it is good to have all your tracks separate. in almost all the songs you hear from your favorite artists, all of the instruments are in separate tracks so you have control over the volume/effects/processing of each of them. if you only bounce it to stereo, you are stuck with that mix forever, and if something was too loud, you cant go back and turn the volume for that certain element down.
although some people just track out in stereo for rough mixes, instrumental projects, mixtapes, ect, it really is good practice to bounce all your stuff down and mix it correctly.
