akai out of business???

Excuse me if this is some tired rumor heard before, or if a topic already discussed but I keep getting all seeing all the emails coming in and wanted to know if cats in hear have heard of anything???
I know I've been sending email to akai support for about a week and haven't heard a thing. So wassup is this true or what???
