pads not working help

so my pad on my MPC have gone out. I know this is pretty common I just want some advice should I try and fix it myself or should I take it to forat. I've had my 4000 for about 8 yrs, and I serviced it myself a few times when the disk drive went out but to fix the pads I know you have to do some MacGyvertype.. I love my 4000 please don't make me have to use push...

If I was in the US I wouldn't be paying Forat to replace pad sensors. It isnt really a difficult job to complete, no soldering involved.

ok so i should order the sensor sheet thing and replace it ? is that usually it for broken pads? thanks

It's the usual fix, the sensor sheet is only around $50, it's literally plug and play.
