[b]Loop & Trim[/b]

Excuse my foolishness, but what is the purpose of having loop as well as trim? I never use trim at all and just use loop for everything. Could someone please educate me as to why there is both.

Sorry kiwi please read the popular questions and essential info thread this is a very basic question. I know others could have written a detailed answer but it is pretty basic. At least I wanted to point you in the right directions instead of ignoring you. You can do it in no time.
