Kind of like mono legato except when I use that as a key group and that is on......for some reason the sequence still only plays one note at a time. So say my kick drum is on track 1 then track 2 I try to play a sampled melody using the pads and mono legato is on, my kick drums go out and it only plays one note at a time.....
I usually use one shot, so I can just go from pad to pad and put my melody down that way, but ive been using longer samples that I want to cut out and cut off when i push the next pad. practicing in keygroups with mono legato is perfect.
What I have been doing is practicing my melodies and piecing them together then adding drums or doing the drums and piecing together melodies on top. Im certain there is a more efficient way using one shots, or note off of something especially when not using keygroups.
Does this make sense?
