Hi,
I'm looking for a good Midi keyboard/synth with the following features to complement my MPC. I need a board which has at least 61 keys with some nice arpeggios, assignable faders and/or knobs, pitch bend wheel, modulation, etc.
I had the Triton Extreme in mind as a first choice but at the same time I wonder if it would be overkill to pair it with the MPC4000 seeing the MPC4000 already provides me with a killer sampler/sequencer superior to the Triton in my opinion. But then again the TE does contain some sweet sounds, the arp feature that I'm looking for, and is an all around great MIDI controller.

Is anyone out using the TE w/ the MPC? If so, how do you like that combo? Any regrets? Would you buy a different keyborad if you could do it all over again?

Also with the next NAMM being just a few months away, do you guys recommend I hold up to see what newer and better boards Yamaha, Korg, Roland, and others might drop on the market?

I have the Triton Classic and it's like a match made in Heaven. Although, I must admit there are times when I feel like it is "OverKill". So much to keep track of. Remember to keep notes of what is what and what goes where cuz it's easy to get lost on either of them. Documentation is a must.

I have been seriously thinking about getting a Motiff to try out with the 4k. Anyway, happy sailing!
