program mode

hi,

i am having a problem. if i want to change parameters of a sample in the program mode while the sequence is playing, the mpc does not play all samples correctly. instead my mp plays only the samples of one progam. so for e.g. program 1 contains only samples and program 2 the drums and if i want to tune my snare, the midi notes from program 1 are played, but with the sounds from program 2.

this makes it unpossible for live changing a sound...

is this normal?

In PROGRAM menu, set the Monitor param to MULTI



The other way to tweak your program without stopping the sequence or leaving the main screen is using SYSEX, I believe
