aksys sequence save

Basically It may be that I have not scoured every inch of the aksys program but can you save sequences. I see that if you look driectly into memory it displays programs samples and multis ( I think). It would be nice to save the sequence directly onto the pc drive rather than the local mpc hard drive.

you can save the midi file.... I think....

I don't have Ak.Sys in front of me, but from what I remeber, when you
look at the "Memory", it gives you

1. Multis
2. Programs
3. Samples
4. Midi Files


The 4th part, the Midi Files, is where the Sequences are. Drag and drop to your desktop
I thiink.

Have not got the program running but the midi files sound strange cant remember seeing that?.

I will have another look soon.

Right-Click on the MPC4000 icon in the akSys Browser.
There, you can enable the Midi Files folder in your preferences.
You can also select Midi Files Type 0 or 1.
Unless you want to send the sequence to another unit that only reads Type 0, it is best to use Type 1.
