Mpc effect sampling problem

Hello dudes,

my problem is if i try to create a new sample which has an effect on it like delay. The mpc 4000 isn t sampling the whole delay only a few of the first sec. of the delay and i think it s possible to rec. the whole delay or there has to be a way. So can please somebody help me. Thank you in advanced for helping me out.

If you have whatever you are sampling tracked (recorded) and you add the effect there, are you going to the record screen and then recording from the main outs or whichever is the selection that allows the mpc to record from itself? it should have the full effect from there because you would simply input the record time then push the play button to play what is tracked with the effects.
