Remixing on the 4k

I love it I love it. copy and paste that shit in time to the beat. Real time chops if I need it. Sometimes just fooling with the sample section changing the montior to multi trigger the vocal to the beat gives ideas on the songs. And like they said the shit aint done til the vocals on top. Some basic math, basic ideas, and familarity with bars and regions copy, paste, and bpms and the shit was on. I love it started out the traditional way cutting up the vocals on Pro Tools midi up MPC with the beats cutting up the vocals and shifting shit taking up alot of time and the ******* Mac G4 when to sleep and crashed. So I was force to try it all inside the 4k until sleeping beauty restarted about an hour later. I`ll be Got damm that shit was easier starting with the building the basic beat, bassline, dropping in the vocals and later playing the keys and stabs with the vocals then coping and pasting regions ******* fast as shit with the goto key and paste. I love this machine. I definitely had to get that 2kXL attitude out of my head the 4K is a monster. Now I wil go back use the mute track and remix the shit on down. No mofo I don`t have a link to my shit. Just I hope to help ya ass be inspired from the unexpected shit that happens. Remember it isn`t the machine its the man on the machine and every little mistake can be an opening to learn and experience new possibilites. Stop bitching about the 4k and start tapping those pads. P.S. everyone can`t tell you everything but first tip I can say which is basic is to make up the drums you want go into sample trim page set the monitor to multi and tap the vocal sample play all button to match up the beat(get the vocal bpm first in dial it in your sequence) you can check it out like using your record player. Learn from mistakes the more you **** up the faster you can learn shit. Woooooooooooooo. The more you try to be Mr. perfect the harder time you will have.
