My machine won't power up. I'd switched it off and when I pressed to switch it on, nothing...

No burnt smell makes me think it's simply a fuse that's blown. I've opened it up but The only fuse i can find is a solid white one, which sat next to a blue box, top left when the cover is off. That's nothing like what i was expecting. So either the fuse i'm looking for is covered by a PCB and I need to do further digging, or this is it. Any ideas?

So a bit of research tells me the white fuse a ceramic fuse. It can be replaced by a glass fuse. But it's supposedly best to stick with the original. Does your MPC have a glass or ceramic fuse? At least with a glass fuse you can usually tell if it's blown, though in my experience sometimes even they can look ok and not be...
