TUNING A SAMPLE

OK TO DAY I WAS MAKING A BEAT AND I WANTED TO SPEED UP A SAMPLE. THE DRUM KIT WAS ON TRAK ONE SO THE DRUMS WAS ON ONE THE SAMPLE WAS ON TRAK TWO OK, WHEN I PRESS PROGRAM AND GO TO KG MIX TO TUNE THE SAMPLE IT WILL PLAY BUT THE DRUM STOPS IS THERE A WAY TO HEAR THE DRUM OR ALL SOUNDS OF THE SEQ WHEN YOU IN THE KG MIX OR IS THERE A BETTER WAY

You should not have any problem adjusting the pitch of a sample while the sequence is playing. Just make sure you have the right program highlighted in the Program List, then hit KG mix, then Pitch, and hit the pad of the sample you want to adjust and do it. No part of the sequence should stop playing while doing this.
