looping part of a sequence

In the main section there is possibilty to loop part of the sequnece. I only just found this and can't find in mentioned in the documentation. I wonder if you guys use it at all and what for. For me it would be more useful to have the option where you could go straight into the loop without playing the whole sequence from the beginning firts.

I alos notice that loops set here do NOT play if that sequence is used in song mode, which is odd. Is this a bug or a feature I wonder?

yeah I new about this it was also in my mpc2000 classic but I don see why we cant throw it in the newbie bible
