Hey guys,

after a few years I decided to go back to hardware and bought back my beloved MPC4000. Now I noticed something funky: when using the AMP envelope on bass sounds, the decay to be exact, you can hear a annoying buzzy tone (sounds like a bitcrush effect). The sound is only apparent when the decay is short, i.e. below 65...

I tired everything: lowering the volume, change velocity routing etc. Is this a known bug?

All best,

Another solution - probably much simpler and much more effective - for the "no click" problem would be to have a "no click" mode that makes the minimum possible attack time of the envelope a function of the note pitch. Since the clicking is really only is heard on low notes with super fast attack, you could just set a minimum value for the amp-envelope attack time that's inversly proporational to the frequency of the note being played.
