Trying to jam songs with the track mute page
Every time the sequence restarts all my muted tracks un mute.
Is this a bug or feature?
If I remember correctly, my MPC 2000 didn't do this.

You were in track mute, while over dubbing. Therefore you record the mutes. So, go to the main, click ERASE

Track: 0-(All Tracks)
Time: 001.01.000 to (However long the sequence is.)
ERASE: All Except NOTES.
PAD: ALL

This will erase all the mutes, velocity, and other changes.

It wasn't in overdub though, just pressed play after making a bunch of tracks, not overdub+play

CharlesRandolph wrote:Well however you did it, you recorded the track mutes. Nevertheless, that should correct the issue. Did it fix it for you?

No it didn't
That's why I think it's a bug. Even if I leave it in overdub or record mode, it will go back to every track being unmuted when the sequence loops, but only when I'm on the track mute page. So if I muted "track 2" on the track mute page, then go back to main real quick, it will stay muted.

Click Edit (f2)
Then delete the Track Mute List.
Do it for every sequence.

There ya go, this did it.
When I record anything onto the sequence, it will record the current state of the mutes too.
Perfect thanks guys
