AKAI...Please Give Us This Feature...

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned b4 but we desparately need the ability to move (relocate) folders or files from one directory (location) on the harddrive to next within the 4K itself. The only way to do so now is painstakingly long and tedious. First you have to fire up the computer, run aksys, transfer the file to the computer's harddrive and then bring it back to the desired location on the 4K's HD. Sometimes I need to move sample packs as big as 500+ megs and with aksys instability, I find myself losing the usb transfer connection quite a few times during the process.
Please implement this feature in the next OS update if possible. Thanks.

Second this. This sounds like an essential tool to setup and maintain a library and project structure on the internal HD. I always assumed this was possible.

As an alternative, I wouldn't mind if only aksys can do it, *without* copying the data itself. What I mean is a MOVE command in the 4k that is called from aksys.

I believe we already have the option to rename a folder, but moving a folder at the filesystem level (without copying the data into the mpc or to the computer running aksys) is really needed.

Yes, it has been mentioned before.. and I agree totally. At least include it in an AkSys-update if it's totally impossible within the 4000 OS itself.. it's just plain stupid not to have this functionality, there's no logic in it.

This should really be akai's number one priority. It makes me feel like I'm using an old sampler.
