Internal cd rom problems!!!!!!!

A week or so ago I made a post about my MPC's internal cd rom would only would play in the left field. Today as I was talking I tapped the bottom of my mpc to emphasize a point and the damn thing started playing in stereo again. Does anyone know what it could be? It still goes out from time to time but all I have to do is tap it again and it begins to play in stereo.

maybe bad connection.

loose connection. for sure. You need to reseat the connectors on the CDROM, not the power one though. Just the audio signal.
