Just got Recycle installed on a PC.

How do you deal with slices you make on a sample? Like the 4K asks when you slice a sample, do you want to create a new program..and all your slices are extracted.

How do you do that in Recycle -

Also...why after I chop something down to a perfect loop and export it via Aksys to the 4K...when I play the sample on the 4K there's a weird delay effect, and waveform at the end of the sample that was'nt there before?

Any help appreciated...then I'm good to go with this Recycle, it does seem like the shit if I can figure out these few things -

'save/save as' saves as a rex file or .rx2, this is recycles own format and that which recycle compatible apps use also; cubase, reason etc ... it's a single file, no wavs involved

export on the other hand will spit out lots of separate bits of chopped audio as per your slices with the option of a midi file matching the slice positions (as .wav, .aif or even .akp)

yeah this is really annoying and dumb, if you hit ctrl 5,6,7 you'll see 3 panels appear/disappear, these are built in fx/processors, one of them is on by default and this is the little extra bit, you have to turn it off by hitting preview toggle {which look slike this /(\)\>} and then clicking it's power button { looks like (`) }

First don`t save the file export it.

Second export it as a akp 6000 file which is the format the 4k uses.

Third make a folder to contain the slices.

Fourth if you set with midi files you with be able to send the sequence data too.

Fifth drag it into the aksys memory icon.

Sixth if necessary set the parts to the program if needed and play.

Take care

Set stretch to zero after setting the right tempo and all.
