syncing protools with the 4000

can anybody run me through this please, I cant seem to figure it out.

i got mine rigged up to where everytime I press the spacebar the mpc starts rolling

while u've got time to tell me that u wanna tell me how u did..does pressing the space bar initiate recording on protools and play on ur mpc?

if you arm the track or and press space it will record and if you simply press ^number 3 on you number pad it goes straight into record

I believe he wants to know step by step how to set up all the midi settings and arm and trigger the MPC4k to PT.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

scheme that's exactly what I'm talkin about..anybody know how to do this?what settings do I need to make? basically I wanna hit record on protools and then have it trigger my mpc4000.

Give some details of your set up. Mac or PC? OS 9, OS X etc.
