Spin down function?

Spin down function? How do I turn my hard drive off when I'm not not using it?

Hi,
You have to go to the "Load" page and you'll see it as one of the softkeys. It will
say "spindown". I'd tell you the exact softkey but don't have the MPC 4000 right next
to me.

great thank you for the quick reply. Now when I use the hd will it spin back down after I am done or is this something I need to do each time?

You have to spin it down everytime that you want it to. It's not automatic.
