Lowest price on the MPC 4000

I am new to the forum and presently own an MPC 2000. I would like to purchase a MPC 4000 and am wondering what the best price available is for a new unit. The cheapest price I have seen is 2400.00

I picked up a floor model (new but used in the shop) for $1800 on ebay. It doesn't have 8 outs or digital in/out, but it does have a CD-Rom. I think $2400 was the going price for a new one, but look around...there are some deals out there.

Full Compass has them for around $2300 but they don't have any in stock. They weren't able to order them because of the recent distribution change but that was last week and they might be able too now.
