Can we record directly to 4K's Hard Drive?

Sup fellas,
I stumble on this Roland link today at this music forum:

According to the video, one can record live sets directly to the MV8000's hard drive while bypassing the sampling RAM.

Is this feature possible with the 4K?

on the mv8k this feature is a kludge using the mastering tools, it's quite a common roland feature, i could do it on my lowly vs840gx, it's a single stereo track only of course, no overdubbing or multi-tracking

don't think the mpc4k can no ... the *late* ;O) os beta may tell a different story

True it's a single stereo track but at least it gives someone who using outboard gear (hardware and/or software) with the MV the ability to record a mixdown of all the sources in the song right into the MV's hard drive rather than using an external hard disk recorder.

I'm sure many would find this feature usefull in the 4K. I for one would that's for sure.

why not do it on 4k as a sample to ram? assuming you have enough
