has anybody had this problem?

im ready to buy this used mpc and the guy says the only problem is that when u use 16 levels and note repeat at the same time the 4000 freezes and needs to reboot...he says the OS is updated and it still happens is this common or should i pass on it???

never heard of that problem.. . I never use both together. with note repeat, you can fluctuate the velocity and do build ups and shit. start pressing softly and slowly push down harder and harder... note repeat
is velocity sensitive...
