OK so I've had MPCs all my life and I'm quite certain this cannot be done but figured why not see if any Pro's can help me out here.
I want to use the Q-Link Sequencer to trigger notes out to play stepped or random sequences on my external synths. I do NOT want to use the pads to trigger external note, filter data etc, via sequencer as I do this all the time and it works great. I cannot believe that the MPC 4K lacks the ability to do this.
Example
I'm in Main page (sequence 1) I call up midi channel 14 which allows me to trigger my Jupiter 8 and all day long I can record pad sequences. I want the ability to have the Q-Link sequences to "step" individual midi note data. At the moment the q-link can step note data INTERNALLY to data within the MPC like drums etc.. but even diving through Multis / Key groups etc.. I've yet to find a way to do this..
