Aux Sends?

Is there any way (or any future chance) to impliment the extra outs and the AUdio INs as a pair of Aux sends?

Well the ability of this is possible, but would require them to put it into an OS update.

I know that S-1000 has Aux sends and Returns, rather then interanl FX>


And the DPS24 has Aux sends, so it's really a matter of what Akai wants to
program or not.

I understood this was already possible, depending on what you mean with 'aux sends'. I'm not talking about the aux sends in the part mixer, that still only one, I'm sorry to say.

But you can configure one or more of the 4 effect blocks as aux sends, simply by selecting the NO EFFECT fx and redirecting the output (to the right of the fx block) to one of the individual outputs. If you then send audio to that effect block in the mixer, the audio will be sent to the associated individual output to feed your external fx gear.

I believe this is what Sean told me. I can't try it here since I didn't receive my output card yet.

Interesting stuff. I really need to buy an output card. I see most only shops wanting $350 though. Man that is ridiculous but it seems like the only game in town...
