Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

i just pulled out my mpc 4k, i bought second hand some years ago. didn't remember that it is a very noisy (fan and hdd) sampler and also noticed, that the pads are not very responsive anymore.

so i bought new sensors from mpc-stuff, a mounting brick (Corsair Dual SSD Mounting Bracket CSSD-BRKT2), a new SSD (Kingston A400, 120 GB) with the StarTech IDE2SAT2 Adaptor and the Noctua Fan (NF-A6x25 FLX, 60 mm).

do i have to take special care when i'm replacing the old fan & hdd?
(besides the obvious; pull out the plug, don't touch the pcb..)

would there be a benefit if i pull out the cd-drive i don't use? maybe better thermals or something...

i found someone selling screen replacements on reverb: https://reverb.com/item/6657731-graphic-display-upgrade-akai-mpc4000-dps16-custom-black-on-white-led-graphic-display?gspk=Z2VhcnNsdXR6&utm_campaign=gearslutz&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=partnerstack-legacy ....have to admit, after watching some other guys youtube video, im a bit worried about replacing the screen. so if anyone has experience with those replacement lcd's, it would be more than welcome.
